Cusuco is calling…

And just like that it is June already.

In a few days our team of climbers will head out for another season on the ropes with conservation research expedition experts, Operation Wallacea. Based in Cusuco National Park in the incredible, biodiverse cloud forests of Honduras, our climbers will be guiding students on expedition up into some pretty special trees (see blogs here and here and here for more info).

Up there is a world where you can encounter lizards, huge red-headed woodpeckers, brightly coloured birds called Chlorophonias and the occasional glimpse of a big billed Toucan!

Students on expedition get unique opportunities to work directly with scientists carrying out surveys across all taxa with Herpetology, Inverts, Birds, Bats, Fungi, Plants, Mammals its sometimes hard to choose what to do first. As part of the expeditions students can opt to come climb far above the forest floor, right up into the canopy of truly remarkable trees.

As part of their experience, participants on the Operation Wallacea expedition to Honduras get to join the Canopy Access team on a climb into the tops of some very special trees.
